I’ve always felt the most rewarding experience in music is to play with other people. I strive to have my students feel this same thing every time they get together to play. I started playing with bands at age 12 and have been rehearsing with them ever since. Everything from orchestras, symphonic bands, marching bands, Jazz groups big and small, independent artists, and cover bands. It’s wonderful to have learned so many different types of rehearsal methods and it allows me to always have a solution with my student bands here. Rehearsals are mostly spent learning how to efficiently bring a song together and listening to the band as a whole instead of its pieces. We do go beyond simply playing our instruments, though. Every group is guided along a path to become independent in every aspect of being a part of a band. From making decisions as a band, to running sound, and even leading rehearsals. In time, we have a band full of potential leaders that will be valuable assets in any band or group setting in music and in life.
We want to keep you informed on local music news, upcoming shows, and Sessions promotions and savings. And in exchange for the privilege, we will enter you to win this Fender Stratocastor. Winner will be drawn at random on May 15th and contacted by email.
