Athletes do it the minute they sign up, music students don’t.
For the typical music student it may take some time to be able to actually distinguish their advancement and in turn perform in front of an audience. Practice makes perfect, so why not get them in front of an audience. In order to get the student to that stage of their music journey, Sessions Music developed a new leveling system that will ensure success in your studies.
The Sessions Leveling and Advancement Method or as it is so fondly known as SLAM is a program that will measure and level the student’s progress with the end result being performance. The program includes a workbook filled with resources such as lesson notes, notations for each lesson and practice and many other resources for the student to develop and nurture their talent. The student’s progress will be measure by a color code level system that will serve as guidance for both the student and instructor to determine what areas they may need to focus on. The ultimate goal is to have the student perform in front of a live audience.
Help us, help our music students to be in the game!
