Haven’t we all been there before? Bad day? Break up? Celebration mode activated? The prevailing theme is that music has a lot more to do with how we feel, and how we cope, than you might think. According to […]
WHO WE ARE
Sessions Music was built for musicians by musicians. We weren’t satisfied with the current state of music education and wanted to offer the public a better option. No more generic lessons, unsafe studio space, and one-size-fits-all education. We prove that music education can be meaningful and extremely fun! Our friendly staff is always happy to help.
AMAZING EDUCATORS
Quality begins with the teacher. We are musicians with diverse knowledge, extensive music and teaching experience, and a shared passion for music. We are proud to be one of the best collections of music educators in the state of Texas! All faculty undergo rigorous background checks before employment at Sessions. Let us pair you with the perfect instructor for your unique goals.
WHERE WE ARE
Sessions Music has three studio locations conveniently located in community centers: Memorial, West University/Bellaire, and Sugar Land. Our studios feature world-class amenities and technology. But we can also come to you! We’ll bring the entire Sessions experience to your home, workplace, church, school, or after school program.
WHAT WE DO
We teach private and group music lessons, rock band labs, early-childhood music courses, songwriting programs, and much more. Our courses are taught at your home, school, workplace or at one of our three state-of-the-art studios in the Houston-area. Our programs are in guitar, piano, voice, violin, drums, bass, strings, brass, woodwinds and others!
PLAY TO PERFORM
We believe in performance. Music is meant to be performed. Playing live is a goal to strive for and an incredible experience. We provide monthly public performances in Houston-area venues, festivals, restaurants, parks, and more! Twice-a-year we host a performance open to all our students in a fun venue. Performing is optional and up to each individual student.
MUSIC TECHNOLOGY
With a world of information and technology available to today’s musician, why have music lessons and education remained in the dark ages? All of our studios feature flat-screen monitors and Apple computers in every room, recording software, PA systems, amplifiers, and instruments. We are currently developing a digital portal for students and instructors to communicate between lessons or classes.
